Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (469) 545-1651. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is brakesplus.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 1,825 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Frisco and suggests consistent service.

Frisco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Frisco peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Whole staff up here is thorough, kind, and honest. 100%. Prices blow Pep Boys out of the water. These guys know cars as well as anyone on the planet. Ask for Brock, he'll get what you need fixed NOW and let you know what else is going on with your car in a non pushy non up-sell sort of way. Ive got nearly 400k miles on a Rav4 so I have a good bit of experiece with getting car worked on.

This business card is what they handed me instead of fixing their mistake (see photo). I brought my car here for a routine brake replacement. It was running perfectly fine when I dropped it off, but the second they finished, it started making a terrible noise. Instead of fixing it, the mechanic and manager claimed it wasn't their fault and gave me a random card, telling me it might be a "transmission issue." Blaming a brake job mistake on the transmission is a total brush-off. The noise wasn't there before they touched my car. What are you going to do to fix this?

We’ve been coming to this location for multiple visits for brakes, maintenance, and general service, and they’ve consistently treated us well. Most recently, they handled the struts and axle replacement on our Range Rover Evoque very professionally and at a very fair price compared to other quotes we received. "Tray" the Service representative especially helpful β€” honest, patient, and great to work with throughout the process. The team explained everything clearly, completed the work on time, and made us feel comfortable trusting them with a luxury vehicle repair. It’s hard to find an auto shop that combines professionalism, fair pricing, and trustworthy service, but this place does. We definitely trust this location and will continue bringing our vehicles here.

I've been servicing my car here for a long time. Always reliable service and friendly staff. Tay and Dean provided exceptional service. They took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, and I really appreciated Dean’s patienceβ€”he explained the problem in detail and walked me through the recommended fix

Jerquaylon was very thorough and thoughtful when explaining everything! This is the only locational I’ll take my car too - I never feel taken advantage of and they always provide education and never push unnecessary procedures. I’ve been coming here for years and will keep doing so!
